UPDATE: Amber Alert: Boy abducted from Antioch found safe

UPDATE 1/18/16 12:32 A.M.: CHP says the boy has been found safe.

PREVIOUS STORY:

The California Highway Patrol needs your help in finding a 1-year-old boy who was abducted from Antioch Sunday evening.

The CHP issued an amber alert after Ricardo Sanchez was taken from his home after 3:30 p.m.

Ricardo is 2-feet tall, weighs 20-pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

The suspect is Ricardo Sanchez Gomez, 26, Hispanic man, five feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 200-pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

The CHP said he was last seen driving a 2011 dark gray Subaru Forester with California license plate 6RTV690.

The suspect should be considered “violent and dangerous,” according to the alert issued. It’s unknown if Sanchez Gomez has any weapons.
