Salinas police investigate second attempted murder this week
Salinas police are investigating another attempted murder, after receiving a call from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
Investigators say a 28-year-old white man and a woman were dropped off at the emergency room just after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
The man had one non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Police say the pair only provided limited information, stating the shooting occurred somewhere near Rossi and Victor Street.
A 32-year-old Hispanic man says he was also shot while in the 2000 block of Perez Street around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
