Salinas boy dies from hit & run injuries. Arrest made
UPDATE 12/28/15 Noon: The Salinas Police Department says it arrested 24-year old Juan Rodriquez of Salinas on 12/23 in connection with a hit & run crash that critically injured a 10-year old boy at the intersection of Sanborn and Kilbreth. Commander Vince Maiorana says a San Jose hospital notified his department that the boy died on Saturday, the day after Christmas. Last week, the department reported it had received an anonymous tip on a car matching the description of the vehicle that had struck the boy.

PREVIOUS STORY: New details surrounding a hit-and-run accident in Salinas that left a 10-year old boy in critical condition. The car believed to be the one that struck the boy has been recovered in the Boranda area.
