Medical marijuana cultivation, delivery possibly coming to Del Rey Oaks

Medical marijuana cultivation and delivery could soon be a reality in Del Rey Oaks.

In a three to two vote, Del Rey Oaks City Council approved the first reading for both Tuesday night. The second reading is set for January 26, 2016.

Only those with a medical marijuana card would be allowed to use the delivery services.

City officials said Del Rey Oaks must approve the rules before March, otherwise, the state will step in and establish their own regulations.
