Driver killed in Morgan Hill crash suspected of being under the influence of alcohol
The California Highway Patrol said a 28-year-old man was killed during a crash on Highway 101 southbound, north of E. Dunne Ave. in Morgan Hill.
Officers said the man crashed into the back of a freightliner at about 1:45 p.m. and was ejected from his car and later died. Passenger Felicia Regalado, 28, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Both Regalado and the driver are from Hollister, according to police.
CHP said officers believe alcohol was a factor during the crash.
