CAL FIRE recruiting for 2016 season

CAL FIRE is recruiting seasonal firefighter inspector positions for 2016. Every year, CAL FIRE said it hires about 2,300 firefighters and forestry aids.

The agency said Defensible Space/Forestry Aids work to inspect and educate the public about building defensible areas to protect property from wildfire. The final filing date for these positions is Dec. 4, 2015

Seasonal Firefighter positions are entry-level and respond to a wide range of emergencies and natural disasters, CAL FIRE said. The filing date for these positions is Jan. 31, 2016.
