Salinas fire causes nearly $1 million in damages
An agriculture industrial center is badly damaged after a fire on Wednesday night.
Fire officials say it started just after 11:00 p.m. at the Uni-Kool company on the 700 block of West Market Street.
Fire officials believe the fire sparked by a homeless encampment, near the warehouse.
The owner of the facility says he estimates the damage at nearly $1 million dollars.
No injuries were reported.
