Hollister police arrest juvenile in connection to one of two recent school threats
The Hollister Police Department arrested a juvenile in connection to one of two recent threats made toward Marguerite Maze Middle School.
The arrest was for a threatening message found on a bathroom wall back on Wednesday, Sept. 23. The message warned the school office to evacuate everyone on Friday, Sept. 25, because of a bomb.
That Wednesday night, Hollister police officers did a thorough search of the school and determined the school was safe.
This week, Hollister police officers did another thorough search of Maze Middle School following the discovery of another bomb threat on Thursday, Oct. 29.
According to the Hollister School District, the message referred to a “bomb” on Monday, November 2.
School was held Monday, but staff and police took extra safety precautions. The investigation into the latest threat continues.
