UPDATE: King City stabbing suspect turns himself in
UPDATE 11/2/15 9:46 p.m.: A suspect wanted for a stabbing in King City is now in jail.
The King City Police Department said Efrain Edward Castillo turned himself into the Monterey County Jail on October 29th. He is scheduled to be in court on November 12th.
UPDATE 10/27/15: King City Police said investigators have been able to identify the man connected to a stabbing outside of Rite Aid on Saturday.
Officers said they’re looking for Efrain Edward Castillo, 32, of King City. Police said Castillo was last seen driving a 2015 dark gray Nissan Altima, four door with tinted windows and a CA licence plate of 7LHP401.
Anyone with information on Castillo’s whereabouts is asked to call police.
PREVIOUS STORY: King City Police are on the lookout for a suspect accused of stabbing a man outside of Rite Aid, Saturday afternoon.
Police said they received a report of a possible shooting before 5:00 p.m. on 540 Canal St.
Instead, when officers arrived they found a 26-year-old man who had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.
Investigators urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward, and contact the King City Police Department.
