Suspect at large in Monterey home invasion

Police are on the lookout for a man who broke into a home in Monterey early Sunday in the 400 block of Dela Vina Ave.

Officers said a man woke up a teenager sleeping in the house, but he ran away once that teen began screaming.

Officers could not find that suspect after conducting a search around the area, but are now urging people to lock their doors and stay alert.

Its unclear if the man took anything from the home.
