Man killed during shooting in King City Wednesday night

A man was shot and killed in King City Wednesday evening, according to police.

Investigators said Geroge Chavez, 44, was shot several times in the 500 block of Bassett Street around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday.

King City Police said this shooting is not suspected as gang-related.

They said Chavez was taken to the hospital where he later died. Police said they are still looking for any suspects.
