Gang crime and public safety discussion in Soledad

Local and state leaders met with South Monterey County residents at Soledad High School Friday to discuss local concerns over gang crime and public safety.

Representatives from Soledad Union School District, Soledad Police, Soledad CTF, Monterey County District Attorney’s Office, Monterey County Probation, California Department of Corrections, Senator Anthony Cannella and Supervisor Simon Salinas were all a part of the discussion with community members.

The discussion also included public safety legislation and policy.
