Crews investigate overnight apartment fire in Seaside
Fire crews are trying to figure out what caused an overnight apartment fire that prompted evacuations in Seaside.
Firefighters say it started just after 1:30 Friday morning on the bottom floor of an apartment complex, on the 1500 block of Yosemite Street.
Four surrounding apartment units had to be evacuated, but crews couldn’t confirm when they’ll be able to return.
One person is in the hospital for smoke inhalation. their condition is unknown.
