UPDATE: 215 acre fire burning in Santa Clara County is 70 percent contained

UPDATE 9/9/15 11:45 p.m.: A fire in Santa Clara County Wednesday night, has burned more than 200 acres.

Cal Fire officials said the “Pacheco Fire” is burning off Highway 152 near Dinosaur Point Road.

The fire has burned 215 acres and is only 70-percent contained.

Crews with Cal Fire Morgan Hill report about 250 acres are burning in Santa Clara County near Highway 152 and Dinosaur Point Rd. Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters from multiple agencies are on scene working to contain the fire. The California Highway Patrol is controlling traffic on Highway 152 Westbound.
