UPDATE: Police investigate a stabbing by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

UPDATE 9/8/15: Three men were arrested for their involvement in a stabbing on a sidewalk just outside the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Monday evening, according to police.

Officers said a 27-year-old man and a 19-year-old man from San Jose were found stabbed in the 300 block of Beach Street, after a fight.

Security officers helped police locate and capture three suspects including Pedro Espinoza, 27, Miguel De La Rosa, 36, and Fernando Valencia, 21.

Officers said a they are still looking for a fourth suspect. Investigators said the incident was isolated and sparked by tensions between gang members.

All three were taken to the Santa Cruz County Jail for attempted homicide and participating in a criminal street gang.

Officers said the 27-year-old had serious injuries adn was flown to a Bay Area hospital. The 19-year-old had moderate injuries and was released from the hospital.
