UPDATE: Two suspects arrested for Watsonville bank robbery

UPDATE 8/21/2015: On Friday, Watsonville police investigators said they arrested two suspects for the Chase Bank robbery on Main Street Thursday morning.

Lt. Saul Gonzalez said the department brought in the FBI to assist them with the case.

The suspects names have not been released yet and we’re expecting to get more details from police later on Friday morning.

UPDATE 8/20/2015: Watsonville Police said a man wearing a black bandana over his face robbed Chase Bank on Main St. Thursday morning just before 11 a.m.

Officers said bank employees reported seeing the man enter the building through the front doors before approaching a teller. They do not believe the man was armed.

The man demanded money from the teller and got away with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.

The man is described as wearing a black bandana, a gray hoodie, black vent, white long sleeve shirt, black shorts, black shoes and gloves.
