Four arrested for allegedly burglarizing cars in Morgan Hill Tuesday

Three cars were burglarized on Longview Dr. in Morgan Hill early Tuesday morning, according to police. Officers said they were dispatched to the area and later searched a car with four people inside during an enforcement stop.

During the search, officers said they discovered one of the people inside the car, Omar Padilla, had a $50,000 warrant for his arrest from the San Jose Police Department for possession of a stolen vehicle. Officers said they also located stolen property in the car from the burglaries earlier in the day.

Padilla was arrested for possession of stolen property, petty theft and for his warrant. Three more people were arrested including a female juvenile, Luis Padilla, 20, and Jose Pinto, 30.
