MST route changes and additions effective Saturday: new route to San Jose Airport

Monterey-Salinas Transit will have many route changes and a few additions beginning Saturday August 1st.

One new route will connect to the San Jose International Airport.

The new lines include:

-Line 84 between Soledad and Paso Robles serving: San Lucas, Santa Ardo, San Miguel

-Line 86 between King City and the San Jose International Airport serving cities in South Monterey County, as well as Salinas and Gilroy

Some of the major changes:

-Line 21 will no longer serve the Sand City Station.

-Line 23 will have additional trips between Soledad and Salinas Transit Center and no longer serve Santa Lucia Square in Greenfield.

-Line 26 will have increased service between the East Campus and Main Campus and no loner serve the Monterey College of Law.

-There will be an addition of Line 42 between East Salinas and Westridge Shopping Center on the weekends.

“Riders Guides” will be available for free on board buses and during business hours at MST customer service locations through Monday, August 31.
