Longtime CSUMB employee found dead in her office, campus officials say
A longtime employee was found dead in her office at California State University Monterey Bay Monday morning, according to campus officials.
CSUMB said Jane Pollock, 62, had worked on campus as the library information technology consultant for 19 years. She was discovered as her co-workers went in to work Monday morning.
Campus officials said a message was sent out on campus to let students and faculty know what happened to Pollock.
Her cause of death is being investigated by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office but CSUMB said it appears to be of natural causes.
