A Silver Alert was cancelled Sunday by the Salinas Police Department after an at-risk elderly man named Jesus Valles was found safely, police said.

An elderly man with on-set dementia is wandering the streets of Salinas Saturday night and Salinas police are asking for your help finding him, police said.
Jesus Valles, 62, was last seen at 10:30 a.m. before he walked away from his home on the 600 block of Palma Drive, police said.
He just moved to Salinas three weeks ago and doesn’t know the area well but police said he likes to go to coffee shops near his home.
He is described as 5-foot-11, 180 pounds with gray hair and mustache with no lower teeth. Valles was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a gold necklace, police said.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jesus Valles is asked to call the Salinas Police Department at 758-7321 or 911,” police said in a release.
