California Rodeo Salinas Hall of Fame fundraiser

The Hall of Fame has become a special part of the California Rodeo Salinas since its 100 year anniversary in 2010. There are currently 37 members with four more on the way this week.

There have been quite a few fundraising efforts to raise money for the pricey plaques. One of them is paying $200 to put a ranch brand permanently on the wood wall of the patio behind the museum with a plaque underneath. Since October, they’ve received 60 brands.

The Hall of Fame plaques will be placed along the wall near the VIP sponsor tents later this week.
