Important bone health event in Monterey

Join Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and American Bone Health on Saturday, July 11 for a free bone health consultation.

The consultation will include a personal fracture risk assessment along with a demonstrations on exercises that will help with bone health. Tips on how to decrease risks on fractures will also be offered. Along with important information on nutrition for healthy bones offered by registered dietitians.

Community members 45 years of age and older are encouraged to attend as this screening will offer valuable information about bone health. This event is held to raise national awareness about the 2 million preventable fractures that occur annually.

The consultations will be offered between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at CHOMP 23625 Pacific Grove-Carmel Hwy, Monterey, CA 93942 and registration is required as space is limited.To register call (888) 452-4667.
