Drug agents investigate Carmel home Tuesday, three arrested

Three people are facing drug charges following a parole search in Carmel Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators with the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team said they found methamphetamine, heroin and paraphernalia at a home in the 2900 block of Santa Lucia Avenue.

Joshua Griffin was arrested for a parole violation, Timothy Buhl, was arrested for drug sales, possession and assault causing great bodily harm, and Megan Herman was arrested for drug possession.

Investigators said they also found an old mortar shell inside a car at the home. The Monterey County Bomb Squad was called out to block off the area as a precaution.
