Brookdale man arrested for meth and probation violation

A Brookdale man was arrested for allegedly having a firearm he wasn’t supposed to have, methamphetamine and for a probation violation.

The Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team said Bryan Vitale, 28, was arrested during a probation check at his home. Investigators said Vitale was on probation for a 2013 drug conviction.

Vitale was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
