Alleged gang member pleads guilty to a number of charges

A gang member plead guilty to a number of charges, including gang participation and assault with a firearm.

The Santa Cruz county District Attorney’s office said Colby “Green Eyes” Isidro’s charges stem from a 2009 shooting. During that incident Michael Escobar was shot in the leg and seriously wounded.

Upon further investigation Isidro confessed to cell mate that he was responsible for that shooting. He will be sentenced to 18 year in prison on July 16, 2015.
