Watsonville man attacked by man with baseball bat and glass bottle, police say
A man was assaulted by another man with a baseball bat and a glass bottle Tuesday evening, according to Watsonville Police.
Officers said the incident happened in the 100 block of Coolidge Ave. just before 5:30 p.m. A 20-year-old man was found with a traumatic head wound and officers said he was bleeding profusely.
The man was taken to the hospital and was later transported to a trauma center, according to police. Officers were unable to locate a suspect and aren’t sure if the attack was gang-related.
