Santa Cruz Police on the hunt for man who exposed himself
An advisory message was issued by the Santa Cruz Police Department Thursday to help identify a man accused of indecent exposure.
The suspect who is still wanted is described as a white male in his late 20’s to 30’s. He was wearing a beanie hat over long dark hair with two piercings on his lower lip. He was driving a white 4 door sedan similar to a Honda or Nissan Sentra model type, police said.
The incident happened on Wednesday June 3, 2015.
According to the police department two girls ages 15 and 16 years old were walking in the 200 block of Swift St. when the suspect pulled over to the side and asked the girls for directions to Sacramento Street. The girls walked over to the passenger side to give him directions. As they got closer they saw that the man was wearing a white t-shirt and nothing else. He was masturbating while talking to the girls. They immediately turned and walked away, the man continued to drive southbound on Swift.
The suspect has not been located. The sketch was completed with the victim on June 17, 2015, police said.
