Hollister police asking for help in identifying Walgreens theft suspect

An advisory message was issued by the Hollister Police Department Thursday to help identify a shoplifter. The suspect was captured on video at a Hollister Walgreens on Sunday, police said.

Officers were called to the Walgreens located at 600 Tres Pinos Road around 9:00 p.m. Sunday. Store personnel reported a white man entering the store, taking multiple products, and leaving the store without paying.

The suspect is described as approximately 20-25 years old with brown hair, a ponytail and wearing jeans and a camouflage jacket with a hood. The suspect was also carrying a skateboard.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to call Officer Mathew Weiss at the Hollister Police Department at 636-4330. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the WeTip hotline at 800-87-CRIME. Information provided to WeTip may qualify for a reward.
