Armed robbery suspect connected to at least 7 cases arrested in Salinas
A man accused of seven armed robberies in Salinas was arrested through a multi-agency effort last week, according to police.
Salinas Police said Kelly Grimm, 39, was arrested at a home on Cleveland Ave. last Wednesday without incident.
In each incident, officers said Grimm brandished a handgun and got away with money. Grimm is suspected of other armed robberies in other counties, including one at a Payless Shoe Source in Paso Robles.
Police said Salinas detectives worked with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Monterey County Narcotics and Gang Task Force to make the arrest.
Grimm is being held in the Monterey County Jail.
