Man allegedly connected to multiple robberies in Salinas identified
UPDATE 6/2/15: Salinas police said a man who robbed a Subway in Salinas Saturday night is also linked to several other robberies.
Police said Kelly Grimm, 39, robbed four businesses in Salinas, including; Factory 2-U, Party City and Grocery Outlet.
His latest target was a Subway on Harden Ranch Plaza, police said. He allegedly ordered a sandwich and when it was time to pay he lifted his sweatshirt and showed a handgun, police said.
Grimm is still at large. Police said he is considered armed, dangerous and shouldn’t be approached in public.
UPDATE 11:34 p.m.: Police said a man is on the loose after robbing a Subway in Salinas at gunpoint Saturday.
He allegedly ordered a sandwich and when it was time to pay he lifted his sweatshirt and revealed a handgun, police said.
He is considered armed, dangerous and shouldn’t be approached in public, police said.
PREVIOUS STORY: A white man walked into a Subway at the Harden Ranch Plaza in Salinas with a gun, demanded money and walked away with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday off Harden Parkway and North Main Street, police said.
No one was hurt and police are looking through surveillance footage to attempt to identify the suspect, police said.
