Aptos mom arrested for driving drunk to pick up kids from school, CHP says
An Aptos mom is facing several charges after officers said she drove drunk to pick up children at Delta Charter High School Wednesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol said Christina Bisconti, 35, was arrested after a DUI investigation in which officers found she had been driving under the influence with a 12-year-old child in the car.
Officers said a Santa Cruz County deputy was alerted of the situation and contacted a deputy at the school on the Cabrillo College campus.
CHP said Bisconti was combative and tried to kick officers during her arrest.
Bisconti faces charges including DUI, resisting arrest and child endangerment.
