Police: Armed robbery at Jo-Ann’s Fabrics in Salinas

A 35-to 45-year-old man walked into Jo-Ann’s Fabrics on Davis Road Sunday afternoon with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the clerk, Salinas police said.

The suspect ran away with an unknown amount of cash and some items from the store, police said.

The man was wearing a green University of Hawaii sweatshirt with a large “H” on the front, police said.

Anyone who sees this guy is asked to call police.
