MST prepares for emergency plan if federal funding is cut
Monterey-Salinas Transit will hold a series of public hearings on a draft emergency service reduction plan.
This plan outlines significant cuts to many bus routes throughout the service area if federal operating funds are withheld.
Bus services for seniors, veterans and persons with disabilities will not be cut, thanks to funding from the passage of Measure Q last November.
