Man shot in the face on Old Stage Road in Salinas
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital, said Cmdr. John Thornburg with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday, on Old Stage Road near Crazy Horse Canyon Road just south of Prunedale. Thornburg said a man was shot in the face after an argument. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene. Deputies have blocked off the streets.
There is no suspect information at this time.
