Emu runs into traffic on Highway 101 in Prunedale

On Wednesday morning, Monterey County Animal Services said an Emu ran into traffic Highway 101 and Tustin Road.

Drivers tried to help the animal and CHP officers also assisted on-scene.

Animal services said it is still investigating what happened.
