Broadcast Engineer

KION TV Monterey-Salinas has an immediate opening for a full-time Broadcast Engineer.

This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing studio, field gear and RF equipment, as well as, trouble shooting, and repairing of computers stations, and network. The ideal candidate will have equipment and building maintenance experience, and/or computer and networking experience.

The candidate should have the ability to multi-task, interact well with co-anchors and other personnel, and be capable of consistently meeting all deadlines and work schedules.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 100 pounds unassisted, climb at least 40 feet, and be capable of occasionally working in outside weather conditions. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and possess sufficient mobility to allow for business travel. Candidate must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
