Position: Sales Assistant
Location: Salinas- Monterey
Job Description: KION TV Monterey-Salinas, has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant.
KION 46 is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would work closely with the Account Executives, working with all Microsoft programs to assist with Avials/proposals and updating programming and rates for all stations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Handle phone calls for Account Executives if they are out of the office or in the field.
– Working knowledge and proficiency of all Microsoft programs.
– Assist AE’s with FTP site.
– Assist with avails/proposals in OneDomain for all stations.
– Update programming and rates in OneDomain for all stations.
– Assist AE’s with preemptions and makegoods in Wide Orbit.
– Follow station/company practices/policies for processing, invoicing, or orders in Wide Orbit.
– Pull prelog/postlog times for clients in Wide Orbit.
– Input of orders in Wide Orbit
– Create/Update power-point presentations as needed.
– Working knowledge of Excel for budget spreadsheet and special projects.
– Media Kit updates
– Maintaining Sales shared drive of presentations and material.
– Account List Management
– Understanding and knowledge of Ad Mall.
– Full working understanding/expert knowledge of RENTRAK to pull reports and create presentation materials for AE’s
– Maintain and upload commercials to Dropbox and iPads.
– Organize and maintain all Web procedures for www.KIONRightNow.com, DGT,
Simpli.Fi; assist in uploads of web ads and schedules on air.
– Complete co-op billing of airtime schedules and prepare paperwork for Notary on all stations.
– All other duties as assigned by management and/or AE’s.
Qualifications/Education: College degree and/or 2-years of experience in a business environment.
Other items to consider: Working conditions/ Noise levels. Ability to adapt and adjust to changes in the workplace. Confidentiality. Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background check; required for position.
