Woman killed in Seaside car crash identified

Investigators are still searching for the driver of a fatal accident Thursday night in Seaside.

Officers say the driver is a 20-year-old man from Salinas, and believe alcohol played a part in this collision.

Investigators say the vehicle, a red Nissan Titan, rolled off Highway 1 onto the off ramp to Highway 218, Canyon Del Rey Blvd.

The woman in the car, 22-year-old Olivia Burges of Seaside, was ejected and died at the hospital, according to investigators.

The other passenger, a 24-year-old man from Salinas, was transported to Natvidad Medical Center with moderate injuries.
