ATF and Hollister Police offer reward on 2-year-old arson
Special agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were in Hollister Thursday to announce a reward of up to the amount $3000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the arson of the Dollar Tree.
The Hollister Police Department is also contributing $1,000 to the reward.
A fire started on the early morning of December 8, 2013 at the Dollar Tree on Tres Pinos Road and surrounding structures were also damaged.
The Hollister Police Department reached out to the ATF after the fire scene was determined to be a crime scene. Investigators also found a significant amount of money missing from the safe in the office.
Agents from the ATF San Jose Field Office are working with Hollister Police and Fire to find the suspects.
