4.4 magnitude earthquake strikes near Greenfield
A 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit near Greenfield just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
It was originally called a 4.8 magnitude earthquake by the USGS, but has since been downgraded to a 4.4.
Newschannel 5’s Meteorologist Ryan Smithies says there is currently no tsunami threat with this earthquake, but there is a potential for aftershocks.
