Stabbing in Gilroy after what detectives think was gang fight
Gilroy Police responded to the 8300 Block of Springdale Court late Sunday afternoon for a report of a fight involving multiple people.
Officers located one victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body, and two additional victims with head injuries.
The victims, all between the ages of 21 and 32, were transported to area trauma centers with non-life threatening injuries and are expected to survive.
Officers were able to obtain a description of the two suspects and vehicle on scene. The vehicle, a Silver BMW Sedan, was located about two miles from the crime scene and officers arrested a 15-year-old from Hollister and a 17-year-old from Gilroy.
Police believe the confrontation may have been motivated by gang affiliation. Detectives with the Anti-Crime Team have taken over the investigation.
