Crash sends one to Natividad Trauma Center

One person was flown to Natividad Trauma Center Thursday following a crash between a car and a tree-cutting truck.

The accident happened just before 8:30 a.m. near Salinas Road and Fair Way.

According to the CHP, a black Toyota Camry crashed head-on with the truck. The truck ended up in a nearby embankment. One person was taken by CALSTAR to a hospital from the nearby Pajaro Valley Golf Course. The victim reportedly suffered major injuries.

Salinas Road was cleared and back open just before 11:00am.
