Surveillance video of hit and run suspect stealing a car
A local business owner said his vehicle was used in a hit and run after it was stolen.
A surveillance camera at Blackthorne Pools and Spas took video, which allegedly shows Edward Ramirez, a suspect behind a hit and run in Salinas last week, taking an SUV involved in that crash.
In the video, you see the suspect jumping over the fence, then taking an SUV and then taking off bumping into a fence.
Business owner Malina Breaux said, “It’s amazing how quick your life can change, in an instant. One bad judgment call, he could’ve gone on collecting can and not jumped over that fence and everyone’s life would be different right now.”
Breaux said she was notified by an employee.
