Seaside drive-by shooting leaves one woman dead

The Seaside Police Department is continuing to question a man who survived a drive-by shooting after finding out detectives were given false information about the incident.

Police said the man gave detectives false information about the suspects involved. The shooting also didn’t happen on Military Avenue. It happened near Noche Buena and Circle Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

A woman was killed in the shooting. The woman and a man were both found at a Ross in Sand City.

Police don’t believe the shooting is gang related.
