Salinas police investigating armed robbery at Natividad Creek Park
Two people reported they were robbed at knifepoint Monday afternoon while walking in Natividad Creek Park, Salinas police said.
A male and female reported that as they entered the tunnel under Freedom Parkway, they were confronted by a male with a knife.
The suspect robbed them of their personal effects and fled on foot, through the tunnel and into the north side of the park.
He’s described as a black male, about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and black pants. He was described as a black male, 6′, 200 lbs. with a muscular build. The suspect wore a gray hoodie and black pants.
