Police: Three suspects invaded Seaside home, tied up residents, stole guns
Seaside Police say three males forced their way into a Laguna Street home Thursday evening, tied up the residents and then stole firearms and marijuana plants.
Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Laguna Street just before 6 p.m. for reports of a home invasion robbery that had occurred an hour earlier.
The residents told officers that three masked suspects entered the home, tied them up and put duct tape over their mouths. The suspects were armed with handguns.
While the residents were bound, the suspects took guns and marijuana plants and fled.
Early Friday afternoon, police said the invasion wasn’t a random act and the suspects apparently knew of the indoor marijuana grow located at the residence. The investigation in ongoing.
