Highway 9 closures planned in Felton Friday

Road closures will be in place along a section of Highway 9 Friday for construction and repair work.

Closures will be taking place on both directions of a quarter-mile section of the highway, from north of Paradise Park to Rincon Park in Felton, Caltrans officials said.

Electronic message signs will alert motorists of the closure and the California Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control. No delays are expected as traffic will be detoured onto Graham Hill Road through a special agreement between Caltrans and Santa Cruz County.
