San Jose Sharks’ forward organizing fundraiser for Sierra LaMar search

A member of the San Jose Sharks hockey time is organizing a fundraiser this week to help raise money for the search efforts for missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar.

Forward Logan Couture and some of his teammates will be signing autographs at Britton Middle School in Morgan Hill on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The other Sharks there will be Tomas Hertl, Alex Stalock, Jason Demers, James Sheppard and Andrew Desjardins.

Attendees can receive one autograph from each player in attendance on any item of their choosing for a $20 donation. All funds raised will be donated to the efforts to search for Sierra LaMar. Only cash will be accepted for admittance to the autograph session.

“We are all proud residents of the Bay Area and we want to send a message to Sierra’s family, her friends and the entire community that we have not forgotten about her and we are not giving up hope,” said Couture.

Britton Middle School is located at 80 West Central Avenue in Morgan Hill.
