Big rig carrying 79,000 pounds of produce flips on Highway 101 in Soledad
A big rig carrying 79,000 pounds of produce flipped on northbound Highway 101 in Soledad early Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Front Street. At least two other cars were involved in the accident, including a pickup and a sedan traveling southbound.
Four people were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately released.
As of 11:15 a.m., crews were still on scene and one southbound lane remained closed.
