Public Works: Multiple road work projects in Santa Cruz County next week
A number of road work projects are planned for next week in Santa Cruz County.
The Public Works Department advises drivers of the following projects:
North Rodeo Gulch Road, at post mile 4.75, will be subject to traffic delays with lane closures between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Nov. 17, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
Capitola Road, from 30th Avenue to 17th Avenue, will be subject to traffic delays with lane closures between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Thursday, Sept. 4. Drivers should expect delays of up to 45 minutes.
Bear Creek Road, from post mile 4.75 through post mile 7.0, will be subject to traffic delays with lane closures between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3 through Friday, Sept. 5. Expect delays of up to 45 minutes.
Mount Hermon Road, from Graham Hill Road to 1,000 feet north of Locatelli Lane, will be subject to traffic delays with lane closures between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, Sept. 4 through Monday, Sept. 8. Be prepared for delays of up to 45 minutes.
Highland Way, at Post Mile 0.38, will be subject to traffic delays of up to 30 minutes between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Thursday, Oct. 23 for storm damage repair.
